Albendazole

Broad-spectrum antiparasitic: Used to treat infections caused by roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms, and whipworms.
Treatment of neurocysticercosis: Used to treat cysticercosis, a parasitic brain infection caused by tapeworm larvae.
Hydatid disease: Treats echinococcosis (hydatid disease), a life-threatening infection caused by tapeworms in the liver, lungs, and other organs.
Mechanism of action: Albendazole disrupts glucose metabolism in parasites, starving them of energy and leading to their death.
